ok. so ill be the first to admit those two brothers, and their sister are nut jobs. ok, they are nut jobs. what bothered me about the whole thing ( besides all the shooting and law breaking of course)was the way the news media, and possibly the police described their home. it was basically.

OH MY GOD, THEY HAVE A BUNKER ! ! !

um yeah. a couple of conex boxes, buried underground sounds like a storm or fallout shelter to me. to be a " bunker" it would have to be.

a. filled with explosives and weapons.
b. a emplacement with weapon ports.

how exactly does a buried conex = bunker? also neighbors were of course on tv, talking about all the target shooting they did with " automatic weapons".

all this does is just remind me that when i dig my srorm shelter, that i never jokingly refer to it as a " bunker". i guess ill make a plywood sign aka bugs bunny, with a arrow pointing to the ground saying.. " tornado shelter ( not a bunker).

i believe the egyptians got the project done, then killed all the workers who knew where the project took place. i dont think i could get away with that. if i was a pharoe though.........

they did bury 40 foot shipping containers. looked like they used 4x4 posts to reinforce them. they placed them like they used to do old mine shafts.

I'm kind of surprised the neighbors didn't call the cops over the automatic weapons fire. I've had neighbors call just because I had a pistol holstered on my hip.

Remember, too, that they called the buried school bus on the Branch Davidian compound a bunker. If it's in the interest of sensationalizing the story, they'll call a sunken burning barrel a bunker.

Three people can keep a secret as long as two are dead.

Not that they compare to Randy Weaver but if you recall the media described his tar paper shack in the mountains as a "bunker" and his small number of weapons as an "arsenal".

Bunker gets bowels in an uproar more so than "storm shelter".

then divide that by how many live with their parents

then multiply that by the amount that are divorced or single

Then add at least 10% of those who are married , over 35 and wish they were 18 again.

then divide by 0 the amount who will beat off to a walmart bra add.

then you'll know why some folks act the way they do here.
