My favorite bullet is the Hornady SST for loading in .243.  Now I shoot mostly .308 while deerhunting but still load SST's.  Shot 12 deer with the .243 in 4 years and only recovered one bullet from a facing quartering shot that traversed 2/3s of the body, exited, and stopped against the bone in the rear off side leg.  Shot 3 deer from 350-400yrds and all of them went clean through with one through the top of both shoulders.  Wish I could remember the load I used.  Maybe 41grns of varget?
