On this place we hunt on the owner just had a helicopter wipe out 54 hogs in  200 acres just 2 weeks ago. Pilot claimed maybe 10 or so got away.
I went out there about 8:45 and guess what? Piggies everywhere. I saw close to 20, all sizes. I got 3. I used my 300 Win mag on 2 of them and my 223 AR on the smaller pig.
 Check out the 3 legged big. He came out dragging himself around. I couldn't tell at first what was wrong with him till I shot him and got a closer look. I'm guessing helicopter hunt wounded him. He seemed to be healed up well but sorta boney, took him out first. Then got the larger pig next. Both were about 150 yard shots.
 Got the last headed out the gate with the AR.(easier to grab)

I always have my AR in the truck but grabbed the 300 just for the heck of it. I have these hogs routine figured out so I hide the truck along the fence and wait them out. Both guns were very close by.
