The files have a .torrent file extension.

How do you opeen these files?

These are bit torrent links to the actual files.  You need a torrent download tool to get the actual files.

  Torrent files seem complicated at first, but I'm sure everyone here
can find someone they know who uses torrents already, you just
have to ask around.   Torrents are very handy, and each fileholder
becomes a sort of server, as long as the computer and internet connection
is operational.  Don't forget to keep a copy of Adobe reader on disc as well.
I need to figure out a way to interface an HF radio to send TCP/IP with a computer so
I could run live wireless torrents.  That would be very cool to have a wireless
torrent network for info.
