If it's just heat shrink tubing, check homey d or lowes.  Electrical aisle.

HD and Lowes does not carry it.

I got some from an Electrical Supply place.

Must be a regional thing, just bought some at Home Depot two days ago.  Any electrical supply house should have it too.  Be aware the bigger, longer pieces get spendy too.

I've bought it on ebay before fit fine but seemed to tear easier than the original.

That's good to know.

I was hoping for a link to a direct replacement if available.

It's been a long time, but I seem to remember diameter shrink ratios as well as a possibility of it shrinking in length too.

Also, I'm thinking about putting something to deadening the sound where the lug makes contact with the stand.

Moleskin ?  Rubber spray ?

Rust-Oleum's  Leak Seal worked like a charm !

I sprayed it all over the area where the cable is inserted.

Really quieted it down.Attachment Attached File

Good idea OP.  That's my biggest complaint about mine.  It's so noisy getting it set up.

Wrap electrical tape around the chain/cable.

Worked for me.
