Thanks for the stuff. I will store that info. I'm just looking for news type stuff, prepper...survivalist stuff. I guess I am looking for "non main stream media" I figure it will be handy for future reference

OK thanks on the alex jones info. Is it me or is alot of the info on the net inaccurate? I find listings for stations completely inaccurate or atleast outdated. My hope is to put together a commo book for my LP. Sure nothing beats tuning around the band, but it's nice to have a reference.

I've been listening since about 1998. I have never found a good sturdy place to go for an accurate station listing
Just like Ham Radio, the bands are always at the mercy of the Sun/Conditions, therefore broadcast I've heard one night, can't be found the next-or even the next month.
And like Ham Radio it seems like working to tune is just as big a part of working a fellow station. there is a book printed each year, a SWL guide, that goes for about $30...I've never been able to convince myself to buy it. more links: NASWA SLWing.com Good Luck!.... The pirates hang out on 6.925 and 6.955 (usually USB, sometimes AM, rarely FM!) and they'll talk about anything and everything.
