Hoping it's just the effects of the tin-foil hat and more than happy to cop a plea to an overactive imagination if it turns out that way.  But I have to be honest with you; my Grandfather was executed at Katyn by the Russians, and my father spent 6 years in a Nazi concentration camp.  75% of my family was lost in the Holocaust.  Maybe it's bred in the blood, maybe it's just plain paranoia; but with Obama and his crypto-Nazi tactics and supporters I'm beginning to feel like I suspect my Old Man felt in 1933.

With this in mind, I'm thinking maybe a little bit of proactive conduct might not be such a bad idea.  Networking and talking is always a good thing.  This is most assuredly not involving advocacy of anything untoward or illegal.  Fairfax and Arlington are pretty much lost.  Sanity seems to be restored beginning south and west of the Occoquan (with the exception of the illegals haven in Manassas).  What say ye?

Nazism and Communism are just different reflections of socialism, of exalting state power at the expense of individual freedom.  It was not for nothing that Hitler in the 1920's and early '30's defined himself as "A man of the Left".

The country certainly seems more polarized now than ever before in my life-time.  And Obama is the manifestation of a host of ideas that seem to polarize this country even more.  If you are worried about waking up and finding your part of Virginia being sectioned off into state controlled ghettos, start planning your bug-out now.  If Obama or anybody else takes us down the road towards a repressive socialist state, it will start in the cities, so have a plan to get out of them.

I hear your dog barking. I have a general feeling of unease with all the ACORN fraud, etc. I feel like a huge line was crossed when they started going after Joe the Plumber because he dared to publicly criticize the Messiah. That demonstrated what low regard the Obamaniacs have for unbelievers. I think we're heading in an ugly direction.

I have always said paranoia may be more akin to complete awareness than being akin to insanity.

This guy scares the hell out of me for more reasons than one. No politician has ever literally scared me. I have disliked some more than others, but this guy really scares me. I truly hope it is unfounded.

That is the exact same thing I have been saying lately; and it scares the hell out of me that I am even able to say it.

You might want to have a plan to get out of VA to points west if and when as you are just about surrounded already.

When Pfizer purchased the United Sates Supreme Court and stole Kelo's house to expand their corporate campus, I looked around and saw no-one taking up arms.

When the Libs printed up 700 billion counterfiet dollars to bail out professional gamblers and deadbeats in million dollar houses, I looked around and saw a nation of sheep hunkering down, hoping the hawk would stoop on someone else, not them.

It looks to me like I'm on my own.

Ok.

Call me if that changes.
