I was looking for a sling for a rifle I was finishing-up in my Box-O-Slings and came across the long half of a 1.25" wide commercial M1907 sling. I figured it would make a fine field belt for hunting and such.

I dug through my hardware drawer and found a roller buckle from a Hungarian AK sling I repurposed years ago. Perfect fit.

A little cutting, a couple of Chicago rivets, a 1.25" sling keeper, some hole punching, and I ended-up with a fine field belt in about 15 min.

Hey you never know when there will be a belt shortage.

I like it! Looks rugged as hell.
