I was tiered of my Youkits sitting on the shelf so I decided to put it to use. I set it up a couple days ago and have been letting it run on 20m using my 20m vertical. I haven't transmitted, just monitored. However for those that aren't familiar with JT65 90% of the time if you can hear them you can work them with <10W

I know you have to be doing jt65 on Linux. So what app are you using. I have a qrp ssb kit that would be very similar to your setup.

I use WSJT-x

debs and rpms (and source code) are here

I think in Ubuntu/Mint it is now in the repos. wsjt is there but it doesn't have JT9 and is a little less user friendly. Also use pulse audio and pavucontrol to set the soundcard. In wsjtx just set your device to pulse and then use pavucontrol to pick what sound device you want to use.

Might just have to compile this on the Pi. We'll see if it will work. Fldigi had some issues with the usb sound card and processing lag even when not plugged into a hub.
