My first real non-chinese radio installed on my FJ Cruiser.

Yaesu FTM-400DR

I know people don't like this model, but for the price I got for. I think it's a win, and the digital capability is just icing on the cake.

Vehicle specific mount to mount the faceplate.

Vehicle specific Boztec ham radio antenna mount with Diamond 770 dual band.

Road salt  is excellent for signal

Custom bracket to mount the control unit to brake pedal bracket. Crappy pic sorry.

Looks  pretty good wastegate. I really like your rear antenna mount.

I like the display on that head unit.  What rig is that?  You did a good job on the install.  As someone else said, it looks very clean.

Thanks for all the compliments

It's a Yaesu FTM-400DR.

There is no write up, because I'm too much of a HAM newbie to give it a proper write up.

It works well, the menus systems could use some work, but other then that I am extremely happy with it.

Touch screen make entering things so easy.

Hopefully  Yaesu releases the free software and maybe a firmware upgrade.

You want to play with it?  You're close enough, lets meet up.

I'll try to answer any questions.
