MRE gel fuel or trioxane?

I was wondering which would be better for my GHB, fuel gel or trioxane tabs. The gel packs are cheaper and burn longer. But, which one works better? I am thinking about buying some fuel gel to try if the Hive thinks it works ok. Opinions??

If weight is an issue, I'd get some heximine or Esbit, same thing. About 1.5x the BTU's per oz. Also hex doesn't go crumbly in the sealed pack like trioxine.

If not, I'd try some of each, both are cheap to try and carry the one you like best.

Trioxane fumes are toxic to include any contact with the fuel will be as well.

I like what's written on the gel packets on the CTD web site.

If your attack is going really well, it's an Ambush.

If you are talking like Sterno fuel gel. Its toxic too.

If you talking which works, they both do and your preference should be what fits your needs.

A cleaner option would be a denatured alcohol stove. It works too.
