Perhaps those who know the ins-n-outs of propagation know why this is so...

But there has been mucho African continent stations and nations that I've never heard before.  Hard to believe that this is a solar cycle in decline or near minimum....

Stations worked ---- TL0A Central African Republic ---- XT2AW Burkina Faso ---- 5H3EE Tanzania.

There have been a few others I didn't work yet.  Judging by the 15 kHz CW pile ups, it looks like TL0A was a rare one - took me a few days to get through on the Inverted-L and 600 watts.

I see these guys spotted, but don't hear any of them (north Texas).  I could almost hear TL0A the other day, but he was way too weak to work.

Bummer.

I've been hearing / working these folks pretty much all day, with ups and downs.  It may very well be that they're peaking at their local gray-line.  I guess that I have a fairly low noise rural-ish QTH that helps.

....and now 9J2HN Zambia ON 21.028.04.......
....and the not-so-rare CN2PM Morocco on 14202.0.....

I think a couple of them are DXpeditions.  The stations are not normally on the air.
