Nice shot man, we dont have leases up here, can I ask what it cost to get a hunting lease? How many acres?

That doesn't sound like a hog problem to me, more like a hog bonus!

We have just under 500 acres to hunt and depending on where and who you lease from it can cost any where from $10-15 per acre. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Nice shot now go get a few more so we will have pictures to drool over. Did the 85gr Barnes exit?
|
|
is that 5k split between you 4 or per person?
don't have anything like that up here. just head to the woods. |

Sweet! I know some of the energy is transferred to the dirt that away but it gives so much better blood trail if you do have to fallow up.

I'm right here in Columbia and am itching to hunt for some pig meat again. |

You need a hand with that on a weekend here or there let me know. I’m a Drill Sergeant at Fort Jackson and the new batch of trainees doesn’t come in till around the end of November so I’ve got some free time.

As big as that ole boy is you might oaght to steel post the feeder down. I've seen medium sized pig's knock a leg off the feeder.

I'm not into deer at all but I do enjoy hunting hogs. Glad you are getting to shoot often. Very cool

I have a brother that does that over near Aiken. He has more cameras in those woods than a Walmart has in their stores.

is that per year? View Quote If you spill a bunch of hog blood and guts does that chase away the deer at all from your killing fields or do they still come out to the feeders ? For that matter do the deer and hogs mix at the feeders? Can you hunt deer at night? (Legally) I have interest in how this all works but as you can clearly see I don't have a clue. |

If you spill a bunch of hog blood and guts does that chase away the deer at all from your killing fields or do they still come out to the feeders ? -Don't think that bothers the deer.- For that matter do the deer and hogs mix at the feeders? Can you hunt deer at night? (Legally) -Never really see hogs and deer together. I do see deer waiting for hogs to leave so that they can come in to the feeder.- -NO nighttime deer hunting.- I have interest in how this all works but as you can clearly see I don't have a clue.
