i was fishing for bass today but the largest one I got was in the 15"-16" rand and weighed 3 lbs. Last year though I was fishing for bass with a light action pole and underspend real and hooked into this,  I wear a 14" shoe by the way.

With the pics you have, length and weight, a damn fine replica could be produced.  Good thought! Damn skippy I would have something from it.  Id put the pics in a frame right next to it just to prove it wasnt a "Fishing Story"!

Glad you relased her.
Farm pond fishing is some of the best.  I've got a few stories of my own.  Congrats.

That would have looked really good in a frying pan...

I need to get out fishing a little more often.

+1 to getting a replica made up.

Heck of a fish on that light of tackle, especially a fish that usually has to be horsed out of the thick stuff!

Congrats.

Replicas are the oonly way to go!   The fish lives to be cought another day, and your mount looks good forever.  Skin mounts start to g down hill fast.

I fish musky's but catch at least one 5# bass a year on big musky lures. I normally catch a nice walleye or two musky fish'in each year too.
