He guys I was able to save a couple of radios from the trash I was wanting to know if the radios I have are worth putting a little  money into , I wanted to make a comm box or something like it.

Well first radio is motorola cdm1550-is+
And the other is a  mason sm-4150 m have 4 of these might put one in pay it forward for you guys if they can be of use

If this is the radio. the frequency is from 151 - 165 MHZ, so if Im not mistaken, those arent usable frequencies in the amateur band.

I may be wrong though.

You are correct I'm a firefighter and we just got new radios installed on our trucks I just couldn't watch them toss all these in the trash they all still work to my knowledge

Put them on ebay and use the $$$ to buy a proper ham radio. While they might not bring enough to completely cover the ham radio, it's a start.
