I fletched a half dozen arrows with Duravane Savages. they are stiffer than the regular duravanes and I was wondering if they woukd hold up to practices better than the less stiff originals. I think these are for those who shoot the Whisker Bisket type rest that are tough on vanes.

Any experience?

Whisker Biscuits are noisy and spook pressured deer, teaching them to look up.

That's my experience.

No idea about durability of the vanes.  Real bowhunters use feathers.

If you are shooting a Whisker Bisket nothing beats blazer vanes. If you go to any archery site i think in general most on there will agree to that. Great vanes also.

I only use feather on my traditional. Feathers make more noise than vanes.
