Dropping some baseweight and picking up a lightly used MLD Solomid. Never been around cuben before anything special I should be aware of other than the abrasion resistance isn't as high as sil?

I started using a duplex last season and love it so far,
no real wear and tear issues but I only have about 20 nights in it.

I did notice that it packs bulkier than any silpoly or silnylon shelters
that I own. I've got a system down where I fold it then roll it rather than just stuffing it.

Not strictly fabric related but there was a bit of a learning curve for me with condensation
and a single walled tent. I think more about site selection and ventilation now.

Enjoy the new shelter

minor note: Material on dyneema hammock tarps tend to be thinner, and is a bit more see through. Gives less privacy and isn't as good for blocking out light.
