Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Canoes?

I just finished the CR100, which is a 100mi canoe/kayak race down the Colorado river. I raced tandem in a Dagger Reflection 16' Royalex canoe. After we finished I realized that I need a faster canoe. Been looking at the Wenonah's, the Minnesota II to be exact. Anybody have any experience with these, or any other canoes?

May have more luck in the general outdoor forum...

This is a 'fishing' boat forum, not much for racing canoes...
