I grabbed a case of Army issue water purification tablets that were going to be thrown out at work in the hope that they were of some use. They were manufactured in Nov 2002 and have an inspect/test date of Nov 2005. They were stored inside. The case is open but the bottles are not. What say you?

What kind? I was under the impression that as long as they remained sealed they were GtG. Maybe I'm thinking of the older style Iodine...

I Googled the NSN (6850-00-985-7166) and found a Katadyne product on Armyproperty.com but the bottles say "WPC Brands Inc. JACKSON, WI 53037". Going through Small Business Contract I somehow ended up on the website for Repel insect repellent.

ETA: I've heard that the don't expire if stored properly, unopened but I've also heard that they do expire, however they have a longer shelf life.
