18 check-ins on 80 meters. Thanks guys, for your participation! I'll mention again. If you can't get through with SSB Phone, try CW. You can program CW text memories in many modern radios. Set memory 1 as your call sign and memory 2 for my signal report. Just your call and signal report is sufficient enough for a CW check-in. CW can get through much better than SSB Phone. |

Andrei came in good here. Solid 59 vs nothing the last month or so. I haven't checked in since the main net was on 40m. I haven't talked to anyone actually since then on HF. Glad to see the 7300 still works.

My frustration was using old free mystery solder. Once I broke down and bought real fine diameter solder things came much easier. certainly not a master at it but soldering connectors on coax is a place to start. |
