Some of the scouts in my troop found them to be heavy and not quite as warm as they claimed to be. I would only get them as a summer bag where the temps don't go below 50, and that is only if I found a really good deal on one.

Don't know about their bags, but I have what's left one of their tents. Fell apart at the seams, literally, after about 3 trips. Hopefully the bags hold up a little better. One thing I've found with "discount gear"; it's usually discount for a reason...
