Hi Sharkman,
I have thoroughly enjoyed your story and would love to share it with my friends. I have found its relevance to current events frightening and inspirational. The characters are believable and well developed, the plot is riveting, the technical details accurate without being overwrought, It is a special story. Do you plan to try and publish it? I would gladly buy a copy. |

Great job, sharkman!
Thanks! |

Great Story!!!! Now it's time to get started on Heads or Tails, or whatever you choose to call the second book.

Outstanding! Thanks for all your hard work in a great story. Dramatic, yet not totally outlandish. Not one zombie, nor any millionaire survivalist bunkers.
Now, we are all waiting for the next two books in the trilogy.... |

Thanks Sharkman!
I have thoroughly enjoyed this read. Thank you for your hard work and I appreciate the opportunity to witness your talent. ..........Mounger |

Great story Sharkman!
The ending with Malik surprised me though, I thought for sure he was going to be a turncoat when he saw how things weren't quite "Progressing" to plan... Oh well... power corrupts I guess ![]() |
|
|
Thank you for all of the time and effort you put into writing this. I would be glad to read the sequel if you choose to write it.

Well crap. I figured Stumpy had spent all those months wiring the place and was going to get the whole PA compound.
Thanks for good read. Put us right there with the characters. |

Ok, somebody has to ask.... will there be a sequel? You know, the battle, the progressives losing and the leadership of the country returning to the way it should be?
|
|

Sharkman,
Outstanding piece of writing. The economic scenario sends a chill up my spine it is so accurate. Working here in heartland of politics, it is all too real and possible. Hope you keep up the writing HH |

Plan is to start writing it this summer. Will start a few years into this new war. I'm going to write two short stories to fill in the gap between books. |

Oh well... power corrupts I guess ![]() The way I pictured it, Malik didn't really want to be in power, he just wanted to cut ties with James Pritchard when it all started falling apart. Malik is smart enough to know going toe-to-toe with Bastle is a bad idea. I'm sure he'll find a way onto some political staff somewhere. Less risky than being in charge. |

Thanks for all the time you took to keep us entertained, it is a great story.

Awesome!!! Cannot wait until this summer for the continuation of this. One of the best and entertaining stories I have read.

I forget, how was James Prichard killed?

Thanks Ripak for the membership! I will pay it forward!
Rule #1: Bring a gun. Preferably, bring at least two guns. Bring all of your friends who have guns. |

Thanks for your time and effort - great read. You really ought to try and publish - your material is way better than some of the material I've read in the past; no doubt you would make a name for yourself. Keep up the good work and best of luck.

That was all part of the propaganda machine. I imagine he had an unfortunate accident involving a shipping container. |

Sharkman this was one hell of a good read. I will join the other voices calling out for a sequel.

Sharkman, this is a great story. Really enjoyed your writing style and content. The story reflects what is going on way to close to what is occuring in Washington. Let us pray we never get to this type of civil war.

Thanks Sharkman, I enjoyed the story. Living in the very same area you portrayed made it quite interesting.

Terrific story, thanks for sharing it with us. Very well written, the character development was great and topped off a story line that hits just a little too close to the mark.
Looking forward to the next part of the story! |

Excellent Story!!!!
Thank You!!! |

Thank you for a great read! I just found it a couple of days ago and spent every free moment reading it. I'd certainly buy a copy if you ever choose to publish it and I look forward to any future writing you may do. I appreciate you effort.

After reading the sequels, and following Overt Actions, I went back to re-red this. It looks like Ch 28 and beyond is not there.... SPOILER - I can get to the ambush on the first tank, but nothing after Tommy's demise. Is this cleaned out do to the upcoming theatrical release, am I blind, or is something rotten in the state of Denmark?
Also, still a great story, even the second time. Do you need an editor? |

The last chapters are still up on the tree of liberty site. |

Thinking of doing a kindle single type work based on this story and was wondering what you all would be interested in. Something short, maybe 30-40 pages. I've got a few ideas floating around right now. Let me know what you'd be most interested in:
Perspective from the Progressive military What did Sean do before the readjustment? What the hell happened to Malik Jackson? I just want to read about Sean breaking things and causing mayhem. |
|
|
If this is a Poll, then it would be easier for me to put in order of preference than to choose just one:
