I've run across a gardening method that seems very interesting, and from what I can find, seems to show a lot of promise- does anyone have any experience with Mittleider gardening?

From what I've read, it seems the main focus is on providing all the nutrients your plants need, including micro-nutrients, in a weekly feed, rather than relying on the local earth being up to the task. If the "LDSPrepper" (youtube) results are anything resembling typical, it looks amazing... has anyone tried this method?
