On everybody's advice in the forum, I ordered a QD base/rings from LaRue. They told me it would arrive on Friday but the damn thing showed up on Thurs. If I'd have wanted it on Thurs. I would have ordered it earlier. LaRue gave me advice on which mount to use with my Nightforce scope but when it arrived and I attached my scope to the rings/base, the damn thing fit. If I'd have wanted it to work the first time, I'd have waited until I absolutely had to have it before I oredered it. To make matters worse, when I opened the box there was this nifty ball cap in there along with this even niftier bottle opener. Like I drink beer while wearing a ball cap. Kinda presumptous ain't they. Actually my wife does appreciate the 'dillo bottle opener. She gets a little self-conscious when I use her buttcheeks to open my beer in public. Anyway thanks for all the advice-I'll ask Abby next time.
