LIONHART, I hope you don't mind, I'm going to have to pick your brain. Was it just the rifle twist that tuned you off? Also, is the carrier and carrier key one peice? Last one, How well do the handguards fit, do they feel lose? thanks man.
Initial impression is bad. It failed to cycle. I might as well been firing a bolt-action rifle. It only cycled properly 12 rounds. It was as if the gas was not producing enough power to cycle the rifle. I used 5 different magazines. It was not magazine issues as they work fine with the direct impingement system A2M4 Bushmaster upper I own.
From what I was able to discover the piston might have been in backwards, I reversed this, and it is a matter of breaking it in 200 rounds. I have not gotten back to the range to run it through another test. If that fails Bushmaster is getting a phone call.
I have question as per the photos: The tube does not fit to the rifle. Is this normal? The rod fits the bolt, not referring to the rod.
