Threaded barrels are not an evil feature in CA.
Maybe the .22 rimfire escapes the same fate as centerfire in CA, but the point I was making is
that there are states that do not support our Second Amendment rights, and CA is one of
the most restrictive. Also, manufacturers like S&W offer CA compliant 15-22's without threaded
barrels, and with magazines of 10 rounds only, why is that?
It is not uncommon for a firearms dealer to buy from a central supplier, and frequently buyers
are surprised to find what was delivered was different from what was ordered. Among the surprises
are pinned and welded muzzle devices.
