As long as we're on the subject, can you please tell me what the normal range of adjustments should be to bring a typical AR to zero?
I mean, take a stack of average production rifles that all meet their specs and zero them.
How much windage from the middle at the rear sight is considered to be normal?
Look at it this way: Consider the rear sight to have reference marks on it, with the maximum adjustment positions being -5 (left) and +5 (right) and center being zero. What range is considered to be normal?
My Colt upper is zeroed at +1, and my Bushmaster is at -2, but I had to fit a new sight base to an existing barrel. I'm pleased that it's THAT close.
