I recently purchased an MPC-RF and had a couple of minor issues, both of which were resolved, with the help of Erik, and Ron from customer service, and when I got the rifle back it's awesome. Shoots straight and very well constructed.
I do have a question in regards to the barrels that Windham uses. I have two other AR's from different manufacturers, both of which are 16" as well as my MPC. I happened to notice that the barrel on my MPC seems to be a little longer than 16". If I line up all three rifles, I notice the two other AR's are equal and the Windham seems about 1/4 longer, all with the standard A2 birdcages installed.
Does Windham use 16.1" like Colt, or did I happen to get one that might be out of spec? If I had to go back, I'd get a pin/weld 14.5" since this is my all-purpose rifle anyway.
