Wilson Shaw No name, just curious?

We machine the barrel from Wilson blanks.
BTW, anybody selling "Wilson" barrels is not telling you the whole story. For the most part, Wilson makes blanks, which have very little to do with reliability, etc.. The company who finish machines and chambers the barrels have more control over those issues than the blank maker. I am not referring to "Wilson Combat", but rather "Wilson Barrels". Jared |

Does Wilson do any Rifling themselves,
or do they strictly just produce the blanks? If so, Have you used any of their Rifled barrels if they do? If so, and you don't, Why? Thanks, Delmarksman |

Blanks are rifled and deep hole drilled. That is the way we get them at our shop.

Are they button rifled or hammer forged? Just curious??
And are they 4140, or 416 SS? |

Button rifled, and most are available in either 416 or 4140.
