We machine the barrel from Wilson blanks.

BTW, anybody selling "Wilson" barrels is not telling you the whole story. For the most part, Wilson makes blanks, which have very little to do with reliability, etc.. The company who finish machines and chambers the barrels have more control over those issues than the blank maker. I am not referring to "Wilson Combat", but rather "Wilson Barrels".

Does Wilson do any Rifling themselves,
or do they strictly just produce the blanks?

If so,
Have you used any of their Rifled barrels if they do?

If so, and you don't, Why?

Blanks are rifled and deep hole drilled. That is the way we get them at our shop.

And are they 4140, or 416 SS?

My best friend up the road from me is a barrel maker (he manufactures BP barrels). The solid 1117 barstock arrives, is cut to length, then go to the deep hole drilling machine (another KurtKustom modified unit). There, they get drilled, then go to the 'other' side of the same machine, which does the reaming (this is a 'double-end/double-spindle' drilling/reaming machine. If they come off this machine OK, they then go to the rifling machine. This is a turn-of-the century (1900) Pratt & Whitney broach-cut rifling machine. I build the rifling heads for this broach-cut rifling machine. THIS is the machine KKF will replace with a hydraulic machine we are designing. After this first rifling machine is built and online, we may go into production of them, as there is a demand. The button-cut rifling machine is unused, collecting dust in the corner. This is the machine I plan to move into my shop for production of KKF barrels (22's & 30's to start, then 6 & 7 mm). Not to be facetious, but I just turned & converted a heavy DPMS ss carbine barrel to LW Dissipator configuration, and find these barrels to much more free-machining than BM CM barrels.
