Took it to the range today with the the intent of shooting 7 different types of ammo and bringing back accuracy and chrono data. Something is jacked and I don't have the necessary equipment to limit variables. I'm shooting a 12" upper with a 1-8 vortex strike eagle in an LT104 with a Maxim CQB brace. I don't have my torque wrench, so it's possible the mount is too tight or loose. I can't snag one of my S&B's or Khales' in a spuhr and rule the optics out, I also can't slap a SBR lower on it and see if it's the brace. However, I doubt it's the brace as I borrowed a sled from the guy next to me just to see if that was it, same results. I stopped at 4 types of ammo in an effort to limit Ammo expenditure and deminidhing returns on my time investment. I will continue this test in Missouri or kansas when I'm out of Rucker. Right now I'm chalking it up to something being Fuuky
These were going to be 5 shot groups with an additional 5 for chrono data, as it sits they are 3 shot groups

120 Barnes Tac TX BT MV avg 2016 ES 20 SD 11.1 GROUP over 3"
110 Hornady Vmax Black MV avg 2342 ES 43 SD 16.6 GROUP 1.86" (chrono data of 7 rds) VERY HOT LOAD! You can cut your finger on the extractor marks.
125 Nosler BT MV avg 2092 ES 25 SD 13.2 GROUP 3.01"
Before someone jumps on here and blames the shooter, I assure you I'm an accomplished shooter and place very well when I compete in PRS and PRS type events. I took second in my last outing with over 80 shooters. I'm not blaming the gun either so don't go full retard with replies. I'll sort it out in about 7 weeks when I'm done with this last TDY trip. What a crappy day, people say a bad day at the range or playing golf is better than a good day at work, I call BS!
