I can respect the need for change. The old website, while easy to navigate was a little "old" function wise.
The new one has some good ideas, just a little poorly implemented. I love the AR part finder when it works, but the filters are kind of crappy. I've found that even when I use them, I get the wrong results. And when I do a large search too much comes up, even when not related to what I'm looking for. If there are too many products and I change the number displayed to a large amount, the page somehow lags or freezes and keeps refreshing or just crashing. I've experienced that at work via MSIE and at home on Chrome and Firefox.
Also, the colors are a little funky. Was the orange for Halloween/Thanksgiving? ;) lol. I really liked the green on the original site. It just worked well. Also in regards to the layout, it doesn't work very well via phone. Maybe change the colors to something more subdued?
My suggestions, which probably aren't worth their weight in anything, would probably be to just make some changes to the appearance, and possibly to how the search function is working. Also, as someone else had stated, the account info just isn't reliable. I couldn't even get tracking on an order, nor did it even link it to my account.
It's a good start towards modernization, but it's just got bugs. I know you guys will resolve it in due time. Till then we will just have to tough it out. The speed of processing and shipping, your prices, and the great QC are worth it.
