I have a Bushmaster M4 clone that I got about a year ago. The A2 stock is too long, I'm not the largest guy in the world, for proper cheeck weld and the Stubbie one is too short. I want to put a telescopic buttstock so I can adjust it better. That is the big reason I've been waiting for the ban to sunset. On the Bushmaster web page is the following statement:
"They are illegal for use or assembly on new “Post-Ban” rifles."
Am I being told that I can't put one on my rifle? If so, Why? I am under the impression that it was only the ban that waws making it illegal. Are there other issues?
I got the same thing today, looking for pre-ban uppers. I think that the popup on their website is to inform you that, as of today, the AWB is still in effect. When it dies, the popup will probably die with it.
