UPS dropped off my strikefire yesterday. I have been wanting one since I first saw them here, and having never used a red dot sight before so I figured starting out with a cheaper one would be a good start.
I saw the thread that said midway had them in stock on monday so I looked it up and must have gotten the last one with the high mount because I purchased it close to 2200 and right after that they showed out of stock.hen
Well I did the test and its me. I was surprised since I have 20/13 vision and have no problem with scopes or other sights.
I thought at first I couldn't handle looking at the red splotch. So this morning I went to the range and tested it out and was extremely happy. When viewing anything past 10-15ft I can't even see the distortions anymore, and only see the dot.
Anyway, the strikefire is a blast, it makes it easy to shoot with both eyes open. Sighting it in was quick and easy, and as far as I can tell it looks like a quality product. I am extremely happy with the sight, and can't wait to go shooting again.
