Yes they do and they make a great rifle. I do completely agree with you that yes it is easier to shoot the three shot group. It also is a lot cheaper at todays ammo prices and nets the company more profit each gun.
The best read Ive seen in a while on this forum is when Larue had Mr Nevada to the shop and taught him how to shoot his rifle. Which kind of comes back to my original point there are so many variables. 3 round group / 5 round group / 10 round group whichever. Either the gun can shoot or it can't. Larue makes a rifle that can shoot, so do other companies.
Also, the swag isn't free its built into the purchase price of your rifle. It is a nice touch and makes customers happy. So is proper and professional comunication of a companies operating policies and procedures. There was a great announcement on the field grade barrel release. Why not announce they now have developed the match grade barrels and that through extensive testing are shooting some really damm fine groups! Maybe put some you tube video up on the manufacturing process or testing process for each and every gun they make. You know they back up their product and fix it if it isnt right.
My other point is you know everyone was saying damm that is a sweet test target. I wish that was my gun! Congrats to the OP on a fine purchase, hope it shoots well for you.
