Send it back to me for a brand new current production replacement. Bushnell wants your scope to send to Japan for evaluation. We are pretty sure that what ever caused it (most likely improper assembly) has already been rectified. In the last couple of years we have been able to deal directly with the factory that produces the SS and address every single return we have gotten and they have been able to determine what caused it and implement a solution to keep it from happening again.
It is very important that you send it to my attention and reference this converstation.
