Disclaimer: I am not bashing Primary Arms
Note: I checked this forum to see if my situation is the norm, or not. It's definitely NOT!
On November 10 I ordered a few AR parts from Primary Arms using FEDEX (Surepost?), just to save a couple of dollars. Parts were shipped and in the hands of Fedex on November 11. I was supplied with a tracking # as well.
As of Nov 23 I still hadn't received my parts, and the tracking # showed the parts still in Texas. So I called PA and asked them for the status of my order. I was told that I should call Fedex as it was their problem now. Not a proper answer if you ask me. I was then transferred to Gabby, who was very pleasant, and said she would get back to me shortly. She did, and she had talked to Fedex and they said they would need 2-3 business days before they could get back to her.
So I waited until December 6 and noticed my parts still in Texas. I called Gabby and explained to her that if I don't get my parts soon I'll reject the charge on my CC. I also told Gabby that I shouldn't have used Fedex (Surepost?) as these kind of shipping transfers don't always go well. Gabby told me that if she can reship my order, which carrier I'd prefer? I said USPS. Gabby said to expect an email regarding my order, and soon after I got not only an email directly from Gabby, but also one showing my order being reshipped with a new tracking #. My order was shipped on Dec 6 and received on Dec 8.
This whole situation came about because I selected to save a couple of dollars. My bad. I won't be choosing my first shipping option ever again.
Gabby, thank you for your help, your understanding, and your following through on your words. It was a pleasure dealing with you!!!
Happy Holidays,
