Last year in Pat's class he was running an M&P .45acp.
Is he still using it.....? |
|
Man you always get some great pictures. The only thing that sucks is every time I look at them my wallet gets a little lighter.

Not because he's lazy.... not because he doesn't know the advantages of a good clean and lube.... but because he LOVES torturing good gear to make it prove itself. |

Hey Jeff
How do you like that brake compared to the Triple tap as far as recoil control? Thanks..Josh |
|
I am still running the M&P 45. It has a tad over 5k rds through it.
It has never been cleaned. I lube it every so often with EWL. I get paid to run guns, not clean them. Just sayin'..... |

More importantly...did you get the EAG Class of 2010 dillo ! Everyone who attends class in 2010 gets the Class of 2010 'dillo... Just sayin. |

The pictures are a great motivator to be ready for 2011!! 2010 is all about getting put back together from past endeavors. So far, my knee and ankle have been repaired. The shoulder is next, followed by 3 to 5 months of PT and I'll go into 2011 ready to have my ass busted in class.

Hey Jeff How do you like that brake compared to the Triple tap as far as recoil control? Thanks..Josh Josh, I have never compared them side by side on simular guns. The PWS SM556 is almost as good in performance as the PWS FSC556 / Todd's Tiny One / DNTC (all based on the same design). Here are some review that you may find useful: 03designgroup | Knights Armament Company (KAC) Triple Tap Muzzle Brake 03designgroup | Primary Weapons System (PWS) Custom DNTC Compensator 03designgroup | [url=http://www.03designgroup.com/reviews/pws-todds-tiny-one][b]Primary Weapons System Todd's Tiny One Factoring in price vs. performance vs. size, I really like the PWS SM556 and have it on a few of my guns. Sorry for the delayed response, hosting 5 days of courses this weekend and I've been extremely. Have a good weekend |

I had major shoulder surgery in 2008 ... wasn't fun, but took a Larry Vickers pistol class while I was still in the sling. Shot the entire class support hand only. Do your PT religiously, don't push the recovery too hard or too fast, and most importantly ... listen to your body. Hope to see some class pics next year |

Pat, maybe you would consider running an EAG Alumni 'dillo for those of us who took your class but the dillos weren't available then. I did learn alot in class & more importantly dumped all my ARMS mounts for Larue after your demo with a classmates' Aimpoint that moved back & forth like a hula girl! Self adjusting soft mounts my ass! |

==================================================================================================================================================================== Yeah...soft mounts....Geez. We rarely see any of those mounts any more. Many shooters have become smart consumers.. At least my students..... Re an Alumni d 'dillo...Hmm.... |

Certainly one shooter did at this PW class..
That makes a total of....ONE in the last 10 years. In my current class here in IN 4 shooters showed up with iron sights (a Basic Carbine Class) and asked to borrow Aimpoints. Going from a RDS to irons is generally a major step backwards, For some- like the shooter above , it is to gain knowledge. The RDS is a force multiplier. Iron sights are significantly less. |

The guy with the Tats was originally SeaBee who got out, and enlisted as a Marine when murderers attacked the United States.
He is a hard motherfucker. And a friend..... |

Probably a dumb question, but what sort of chest rig/carrier is the gentleman in the black shirt (with microphone headset) wearing in the picture set directly above? Or is it a cobbled together set up...
