Don't put any front sight on the gas block rail if it's plastic, as the block gets VERY HOT. It will soften the sight's mount, and throw your shots off and you will permanently ruin the sight.
The rails used are "Picatinny" rails. If you have Weaver Scope Rings, they will fit and work––-provided, the jaws open wide enough, and you have enough screw threads to adaquitely tighten up.
Have you thought as to what Red Dot you want to use? Most Red Dots have the scope mounts built in, and no need to get scope rings.
I use a Bushnell TRS-32 Red Dot(not red/green) at $129 on my Oracle. Others have had very good luck with the Bushnell TRS-25 for $99.
If you get a "Red Dot" that you have options to change either the Reticle color or Recticle looks, you will need to re-zero each time you change. That's why "just" a Red Dot scope is better overall.
