cant estimate shipment,
wont guarantee you can get one.
I cant see waiting months for there bcg and somebody waiting for a couple of days getting one, and me not because I was a day late noticing they had them in stock, and then still have to go find a replacement supplier.
Just dont seem right.
I can say this... I have tried on NUMEROUS occasions to contact BCM via telephone. The only thing I get is the answering machine stating "all hands are in back." and to visit the website. BCM corresponds via email... usually the next day. I am not bashing them, BCM is a great company.
On numerous occasions I have contacted Spikes via telephone, spoke with the operator, and got help immediately. I have recently had a problem with a spikes product. I left a message as well as sent an email. Within 1 hour, I had a response from Tom Miller (CEO) and Sarah. Sarah emailed me a RMA for return, along with a UPS shipment label. Tom told me about how they are going to correct the problem. I have been in constant email contact and phone contact with Sarah (bothering her with stupid questions). The last email I sent her was on 3/15/11 at 4:45pm. On 03/15/11 at 4:49pm, I received an email back from her telling me she would have an answer for me in the morning once she spoke with the armorer. On 03/16/11, I received an email from her at 8:50am, telling me my replacement product was shipping out this date.
Without question. Without even seeing the product, they are shipping me an entirely new product.
I also waited 4 weeks for my Nib BCG. I received it in the mail 3 days ago. I can tell you it was worth the wait. I know I have a TOP NOTCH product.
For what it is worth... Spikes has corrected some issues that I have had... Including Tom fixing a lower which I built. The problem was MY bolt catch (not purchased from them). Tom fixed it for free and shipped it back within 4 days of receiving it.
You will not find a better company that stands behind their products, nor goes out of their way for their customers than Spikes.
NO, I am not a fanboy... but I have spent over $3000.00 with them in the past 1.5 years. I am a LEO in charge of firearms. I deal with MANY big name companies. It is REALLY nice to see how quick they are in response to my questions and problems.
If you can't wait for Spikes, then don't. I know how the waiting game gets. I waited 2 months for my upper.
To me... Spikes products and customer service makes it worth the wait.
