Thanks for the replies, guys. I guess the jury is still out on Colt getting with the pushpin program.
Quiksilver, both of my preban Colts(early 90's blue labels), a large and small pin, were not factory drilled. Some are, most aren't, from what I have seen. I wonder how Colt decided which lowers would be drilled. Kinda reminds me of that famous line from "Forest Gump" pertaining to chocolates!
I just received a couple of DPMS front pushpins for the nondrilled lowers. They work, but stick out a little farther than I like.
The main reason I asked this question is that I was thinking about building up a new rifle, and would consider a Colt MT lower over a Bushie if the pins were milspec.
