I'm having a bit of problem with my 2002 LEGP rifle.
My rear sight had to be moved almost all the way to the left to alight with my front sight. It shoot to point of aim now but I only have about 4 or 5 clicks left on the left side of the rear sight.
I noticed that the front sight has 4 screws on the base to hold it to the barrel. I assume that if I remove these 4 screws the front sight can be canted back to the right so the rear sight can be more in the center? How much pressure is needed to cant the sight (just twist it with my hand or should I be hitting it with a 2X4)? I tried to do it this weekend by just tapping it gently with a 2X4 but it did not move. Also, any particular amount of torque when putting screws back on?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Oh, one more question... when you finish building a rifle I assume you guys take couple of shots with it to make sure everything works? What kind of ammo do you use and how many shots do you take? My rifle looked like some shot a case of ammo.
