I am STILL paying off my 6731, my dealer had one laying around and I just fell in love with it.  Does anybody have a history with one of these, and are they happy with it ?  I was really all set to buy a Bushy dissipator, but after a quick feild strip and inspection this rifle looked immaculate, and the carrier assembly looks like it was cut with a laser it was so precise.  A3 upper, 16" HBAR.  Since I own a Colt 1911 (another bragging story) I thought I'd go with a Colt as my first AR and see how it goes -- Any help on this would be appreciated.

I bought an MT6731 about a year ago. The fit. finish, and over quality of the gun are fantastic. It's the only post-ban AR15 that I own. Other people report spotty quality with recent Colts, but this gun is flawless. Definitely a keeper.

I'v got a 6731 thats about 5-6 years old.  I don't get the the range as much as I used to, but, I really like this gun: I put a jp trigger in mine,  the trigger is now 3.5 lbs.  the trigger has been in  since about 1 year after I got the gun, never had any problems with it.  I occassionally shoot some 3 gun competitions, and have almost always come in 1st or 2nd in the rifle stages anyway.  I don't attritribute that to my skill, but the gun is quick handeling, and what I consider extremeley accurate out to 250 yards or so any way.  I can put pop cans on the rail at 225 yards, and hit 20 in a row, with the right ammo. (as fast as I can get on target and shoot), we don't generally have a lot of competitors, about 9-14, and one guy shoot an HK PSG, He's only come close to me once.   I don't think I'v ever had a malfunciton related to the gun, a couple because of poor ammo, but not because of the gun.  I know there are lemons in evything made, but mine  aint!!  Good Luck.
