I used el-cheapo aluminum super high rings from a gun show. I usually use steele but seen little advantage as I have never had a prob with decent aluminum. They are 4 screw though.
The BBl is a J&T 16 bull 1/8. I'm tellin ya guys, the 1/8 is the way to go. I like 1/9s but a 1/8 will shoot them (bullets/weights) all better.IMHO.
I got the scope at our last gunshow and it's a B&L (Bushnell) elite 3200 5-15x50mm. One of the brightest scopes I have ever used. Guys try to tell me I can't get 1 inch groups or better at 300 reliably. Wrong HAHA !!! I do every day.
The lower is a new DPMS. The grip is a G-27 and I put my old RRA 2 stage trigger in it. The only way to go. Reloading super bullets helps too. Man, I'm a junky now! I'v got distributers inviting me to gunshows!HAHA! I have been known to place a wager on long range shots.:) These kits are the best thing goin men. Scoop em up. Heres a 300 yard 3 shot group that was the worst that I fired at 300 that day. About 250 rds through the gun.
50gr V-max on top of 25 gr Varget,a relatively light load. jerryboy
