I just picked up one of these bolts from Atlantic Firearms and it looks really good. One question though: On my bolt, just like the ones in all of the pictures, the extractor pin isn’t seated flush with the front of the bolt. It is barely protruding, but it is enough to see. Should I grab my small brass hammer and a punch and seat the pin flush, or just install the bolt and let the pin seat itself when the bolt slams shut?
ETA : Eric @ M.A.D. informed me that it would be fine to seat the extractor pin flush with the front of the bolt.
