This is my first post, but I read a lot here. I have noticed something about my new M17s that concerns me. It seems that the firing pin will make a large dent in the primer of the chambered round without me pulling the trigger. It hasn't accidentally fired this way, but I'm worried that it might. I was just wondering if this is supposed to happen, or if something's wrong. Is there a retaining spring available that might keep it from contacting the primer until fired intentionally?
Thanks for any help.
