Has anyone experienced any accelerated wear on their lower receiver when using the SHRIKE upper?
I've been running it on my $20k transferable Colt M16A2 and just wanted to make sure that I'm not going to wear the thing out faster than i would with a standard upper.
The Shrike feels a lot more violent and I would think it would wear the lower faster than a normal M4 upper would.
I know a 9mm upper can wear the lowers out faster than a 5.56.
Has anyone tried running the adjustable barrel on the suppressed setting without a suppressor? Will is cycle OK?
I think this would reduce a lot of wear.
I'm running a standard non adjustable barrels, but I'm going to order an adjustable barrel and give it a try and see how it runs on a reduced gas setting.
