What ever came of the joint contract between LaRue and Noveske to provide guns for some members of our military? From what I was told LT had the rails that the .mil wanted & Noveske had the barrels. LaRue agreed to assemble them and later LaRue ended up building the guns with pac-nor barrels to cut John out of the deal and increase profits.
Problem was the barrels ended up not meeting the same requirements that the Noveske barrels had met. Just curious if there were ever any law suits filed over this breach of contract. |

For the people that peek in here that don't know what happened and before they waste time drudging through archives - I think Noveske was actually buying Rails from LaRue but then there was a parting of ways over barrels. Everyone moved on. It is a complete waste of time to even bring it up. What get's me is Mark posting in here rather than addressing his "Few weeks" comment ??? |
|
If the barrels were made by PacNor (which I doubt given the nature of their relationship with Noveske) why would they be trashed?
Noveske had stated that he was offended at the release of the Stealth upper receiver group, which was a commercial product, with a barrel from a different manufacturer (LW) and has an excellent reputation. |

Now is the "zillions" an actual number of customers or merely an over confident exaggeration like the "few weeks"?
|

Butthurt? Awwwww....Now why did you have to go and do that? We were having a productive discussion. The target was better than your current test shooter....If your offer is good i will see you in the morning. Just make those tobrs sir, and my wallet....err....butt will feel better.

While I can only actually speak for myself, I'd venture to say that everyone of your TOBR customers from the initial release is very unhappy. We can complain about wait times and shortages in the industry all day long, this is different. But yeah, I'm very unhappy.

Dream Job #3 test shooter for LT. I swear I wouldn't complain sir. And I'd even work Saturday and Sunday as well, thats the God's Honest Truth.

Good lord. I remember when LT swag included a gizmo called a battle-mixer and this forum was visited by people who I was proud to call friends. I think you can still buy a battle mixer, and if you look hard enough, you might find someone who isn't bitching and complaining. Things have certainly changed though.

So Mark, is it still a few weeks for the release of the TOBR, or is it now a few months???? With the current level of information updates one might think it is a few more years (than we have already been waiting).....
