I was reading "The Last Patriot" by Brad Thor last night, and was pleasantly surprised to see LaRue Tactical and Mark LaRue in particular mentioned in the story line. The main character, Scot Harvath, a former SEAL turned Secret Service agent, turned Counter Terrorism agent was preparing for a mission and he chose "One of his most prized possessions: A LaRue Tactical Stealth M4." The author went on to elaborate about the gang at LaRue Tactical, the shop and it's products, and Mark LaRue specifically, calling him a "Modern day Q" (of James Bond fame). The author went on to say that since he was from Texas he should be called BB"Q"
. Rather fitting I think, considering my addiction to Dillo Dust. If any of you guys are readers and havn't checked out Brad Thor, I highly suggest you do, as The Scot Harvath novels are alot like Vince Flynn's Mitch Rapp books.
