Ok, I decided to pick up the Team Wendy Bump Helmet. First for the quality and because of their mission statement. My ex-wife whom I still cared for also passed away a few years ago from a traumatic Head injury in a car accident and coincidentally her name was Wendy.
I do have a another question and I don't want to pester anyone here too much but I did some more careful reading and I'm trying to understand the differences in TNVC's PVS-14's.
Here's my understanding so far:
TNV/PVS-14 Gen3 Commercial Spec: Brand new, Thick filmed Gen3 Tube (L3?), Robust.
TNV/PVS-14 Gen3 Pinnacle: Brand new, Thin Filmed Thin Filmed ITT Tubes, brighter image.
TNV/PVS-14 Gen3 Omni VIII: Brand new, Thick filmed L3 tubes, Robust, Selected for image clarity.
I had to put this all down to make sure I understand, does this sound right?
How much brighter is the Thin filmed Pinnacle tube and how much better is the image clarity with the Omni VIII?
Edit: Ok I feel like a dummy, the answers are all right here in the fourms, I just had to do some more digging and concentrating. The brightness difference between the Pinnacle and Omni VIII is probably not very noticeable to someone like myself, and the difference between the Commercial Spec, and Omni VIII is where the tubes are built, which is the reason for the price difference. As far as performance and image quality they should be the same or very close?
