I bring attention to some comments posted in that now-deleted thread from yesterday. As usual, there is of course more to the story, of which I will not "publicly" comment, but I am letting LT customers know that I am aware of JN's recent public comments in regards to Team LaRue. It does appear that JN & LT are no longer working together...you may consider this an announcement. v/r M. The funny thing is, I asked him the very same question. Although I did so a little more privately ;)
I was of the opinion that it was likely a supply issue and that it should probably be left at that. It should be noted that both individuals in question make products of the highest quality. I try not to get caught up in the politics of the scene. My LaRue upper will be in good company with its Noveske barrel and I’m sure the parts know that even if the people don’t. |

Mark...
You ragged me pretty hard about a year ago before X-MAS. I called LT early one morning and you answered the phone. I was inquiring how much an LT mount for my Ichotech 3x magnifier would cost which seemed to both irritate you and amuse you and you went to great lengths to explain why the (my words greedy bastards) deciders @L3 wont allow pivot mounts to be made by LT, only FTS Samson then our conversation deepened and I mentioned my back up optic was an M2 and you asked what kind of mount I had it in...and I shame facedly said an M68, but did have a Pentagon SX3 9volt with an LT drop mount which did not lighten your mood at all...which I will say within 3 weeks I dumped my L3 553 and L3-3x and now for the past year have run across the top of my VIS3 an Aimpoint M4 in LT mount and Aimpoint 3x in LT pivot mount, lest we forget my SX3 w/LT 'drop mount' which a great piece of gear. I traded my SF 952 & 962 since I was advised I could upgrade them w/LT mounts but not with the same mount on my SX3. All I am missing is the F.U.G and I could be an LT poster boy. Thanks for your honesty ask Austin I have told him this a million times (major exaggeration), I am a better marksman today for it... edit: My comment was off topic, but was trying add some levity to a decision which is a shame but none of my business. I am customer of both firms and would not hesitate to do business with either. I wanted to hi-lite I have received outstanding customer service from LT. Whether to get questions answered or to place an order and for this I am very grateful and appreciate LT for it very much. Thank You Michael George |

Mark,
I called LT today because I had a question about my order and spoke to a wonderful lady on the phone who took care of my issues right away. I have built up and customized two ARs in the last year and have worked with just about everyone in the business for one thing or another. That being said, I would put your customer service at the top of any list and I look forward to ordering from you in the future. I mean who cant use some dillo dust every once and a while! Thanks for everything, AP |
Yes, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No, No... now can I have my new gun?!!!
|
im with ya mark- ill sell all 3 of my noveske lowers today- if only you'll let me buy 3 larue lowers to replace them with!
also heard from my uncle john about the badass guns you were sending with the texas governor on his trip to iraq recently- the SF operators over there need, and deserve them. its a shame they wouldnt let them be brought. you guys are the best, and everyone knows it. Joe |

Waiting for a new LaRue Trade in program. Trade Noveske uppers for LaRue uppers similar to the ARMS war. Or you could send in pictures or dillos stomping on Pig breaks or something.
I hope this gets worked out since I like both companies. |

The only thing noveske "makes" that is on my carbine is his reciever sling plate. Nothing else of his interests me. Also, it's funny he took a pot shot at a gear maker when he's basically a gear assembler. Couple that in with the reports that once he has your money, he's not much interested in making things right when things of his go wrong.

I applaud your detective work, even though I have bought thousands of dollars and still have multiples of thousands ordered we can't get a simple update with any kind of reasonable time line. If you came out and said " hey guys this is going to take another year" at least we would have SOME kind of idea, and we would wait around that year. The frustration grows for many of us. If I didn't think LaRue rifles were the absolute best I would have canceled my orders months ago. if you want to look up my eBay or GB feedback also feel free.
